Have you been hearing about PerfectIt and wondering whether to give it a try? If so, this course is for you. Learn how to get started with the program, what it can do and how best to use it in your editing process. We will also look at a text expander (PhraseExpress), another useful tool for editors.

Delivery method

The course is run via a webinar, and comprises a mix of demonstration and hands-on exercises. No prior knowledge of PerfectIt, PhraseExpress or webinars is required.

Who should attend?

This course is aimed at editors in any field who have either not used PerfectIt or only recently started to use it. It is not suitable for Mac users unless they are running Windows within the Mac.

About the trainer

Hilary is a highly experienced technical editor, proof reader and trainer, with a PhD in biochemistry and a masters in science communication. Since 2009, Hilary has run Cadman Editing Services, providing writing, editing and training services to organisations and individuals. Now based in Bellingen NSW, Hilary is passionate about finding better ways to work on and in her business.
